Ingredients
Serves: Approx. 1 oz (28g) servings
- 180g whole almonds
- 30g granulated sugar
- Honey Butter Seasoning Blend:
- 4g honey powder
- 3g butter powder
- 0.05g milk type flavor (liquid)
- 0.05g honey flavor (liquid)
- 0.05g butter flavor (liquid)
- 0.2g milk type flavor (liquid)
Preparation
- In a small bowl, prepare the Honey Butter Seasoning Blend by mixing together all the blend ingredients.
- In a kettle or heavy-bottomed pan, combine the almonds and sugar.
- Heat over medium-high heat until the mixture reaches 150°C (300°F) and the almonds are fully caramelized.
- Remove the caramelized almonds from the heat and immediately dust them with the prepared Honey Butter Seasoning Blend.
- Let cool completely before serving or storing.
