All-Purpose Almond Umami Sauce
DIFFICULTY: Medium
DURATION: 10 minutes
DURATION: 10 minutes
Ingredients
Serving Size: 1 Tbsp (12g)
- 113.4 g Almond Butter, Creamy
- 89.1 g Almond Milk, Unsweetened
- 14.8 g Lemon Juice, Fresh
- 9.6 g Liquid Aminos
- 9.9 g Light Brown Sugar
- 2.8 g Red Reishi Mushroom Powder
- 2.8 g Nutritional Yeast
- 2.3 g Smoked Paprika, Ground
- 1.4 g Aleppo Chile Pepper Flakes
Preparation
- Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and whisk to evenly combine.
- Place All-Purpose Almond Umami Sauce in a sealed container and refrigerate a minimum of one hour to allow the flavors to fully develop before using.
* Viscosity should be similar to a medium-thick satay sauce that gently coats the back of a spoon. Sauce typically gets thicker upon refrigerating (depending on almond butter variety & thickness). If the sauce becomes too thick, simply thin it out with a touch of almond milk to desired consistency.
* Utilize the All-Purpose Almond Umami Sauce chilled, in multiple applications.
